As Worldwatch celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, we are proud to look back on 35 years of research promoting the essential role of gender equality in building a sustainable world. One of the first reports Worldwatch published in 1975 was titled “Women in Politics: A Global Review,” and since then Worldwatch researchers have continued to highlight the need to improve the status of women worldwide.<\/p>\n
